Finding the perfect pram

Finding the perfect pram can be difficult especially because there are so many prams out there to choose from and they all insist that they have something better to offer than all those other prams out there.  If you are on the market and are looking at strollers, you may no doubt find yourself a little overwhelmed with all of your choices.  To pick the perfect strollers or pushchairs for you and your baby’s needs you should always start with a little research.

Start by looking at different models and consider a couple of questions.  Do you want simple types of strollers or ones that have other features? For example do you want a stroller that has a sun hood, storage, and cup holders or do you want something that is simple and sturdy.  Once you have an idea of what you want you can start to weed out the prams that you are not interested in.

Also think about what you plan to use your pushchairs for.  Do you plan to use it for short walks or for when you go to the store or are you looking for something that you can use for jogging over rough terrain and have thicker better wheels?  These are all things that you should consider when you start your search.  Another factor that many new pram buyers consider is how well, easy, and small does the pram fold up.  This is an important feature for most buyers as they are looking for something that they can easily fold up and that is compact so that they can easily transport it either in their vehicle and even sometimes when flying.

A great thing to consider that many new stroller buyers may not think about is how long to you want to use your pram for?  With so many choices you can easily find a pram that can be used from newborns all the way to 3 or 4 year olds.  If you are looking for something that you can use for years this type of stroller may be just what you are looking for.  You should also consider whether or not the stroller is in a fullyseated position or if it is slightly reclined.  Finding a pram that has an adjustable seat is a great idea as sometimes you child will want to sit up or forward and other times they may feel more comfortable being relaxed.

The main thing to remember when you start your pram search is that having a good idea of what you want and what you want to avoid can really help you start the process with a clear view of what style and which features you want.  This will make the process much easier.
